The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit responds to the current need to offer a service of high diagnostic and therapeutic quality in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Our unit is made up of a multidisciplinary professional team composed of specialists in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, educational and learning support, and Psychiatry.

Our multidisciplinary team allows us to carry out a comprehensive intervention based on clinical and educational psychology, child and adolescent psychiatry and a service of educational and learning support. We offer both in-person and online services.

Child and adolescent psychology

The first visits to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit are carried out by the team of psychology specialists through an interview with families, including children, adolescents, and young people.

Once we have understood the situation in greater depth, we will propose a personalized improvement plan to achieve well-being for the person and their family.

Diagnostic assessment

We are specialists in child and adolescent diagnostic assessments; we offer a broad and cross-cutting perspective that is essential for identifying difficulties in a personalized way.

Educational and learning support re-educations

We offer support and resources to those children and adolescents who experience difficulties in their learning process. We usually address difficulties linked to language, literacy, mathematical calculation, and difficulties with attention and concentration to carry out improvement work where it is necessary to offer a variety of specialized resources and tools.

Child and adolescent psychiatry

We provide a medical perspective on emotional, behavioural, and learning development. Together with psychology and re-education, we offer a comprehensive approach adapted to each child and adolescent.
