Ski and Snowboard
Our team stands out as one of the medical groups with the greatest experience in Spain in the treatment and prevention of injuries associated with skiing and winter sports. Over the past eight years, we have treated more than 50,000 skiing-related injuries, allowing us to collect a valuable amount of data and conduct comprehensive studies.
The Traumatology and Winter Sports Medicine team (AV Medical Group) consists of 15 professionals who work at the medical centres of the Baqueira-Beret and Boi-Taüll ski resorts, as well as at the Teknon Medical Centre. We are proud to be part of the International Society for Traumatology and Winter Sports Medicine (SITEMSH).
At AV Medical Group, our commitment is reflected in the specialised care we provide to those who practise these exciting winter sports. The experience we have accumulated over the years enables us not only to treat injuries effectively, but also to contribute to advancing knowledge in this field through our participation in international studies and collaborations.
