Adriana Izquierdo Domínguez

Dr. Adriana Izquierdo Domínguez is a leading allergist, holding a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Bellaterra. She currently serves as Head of Service at the Centro Médico Teknon , where she leads the Allergy-Rhinology Unit. Her contribution to the field of allergology is reflected in her most recent publication, "COVID-19 as a turning point in the need for specialized units for the sense of smell," in the journal Journal of Research in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, which is recognized for its impact in the first quartile. Furthermore, Dr. Izquierdo received the SEORL First Prize in 2017, further solidifying her prestige in the medical field.
